The Inglebean
Undeniably the hippest coffee shop in rural America, The Inglebean in Millheim serves as a meeting place and caffeination station for all of Penns Valley. Outfitted in reclaimed lumber and reused tin roofs, the Inglebean offers light breakfast and lunch fare from 7 am until 3 pm seven days a week with open mic nights and special select evening programming.
Owned by Dennis, (we’ve never asked his last name), a bearded, hipster transplant from Union City, New Jersey. He brings a unique urban feel to the Inglegean, which offers patio seating for both the coffee shop and next-door ice cream shop. Winters are made warm at the Inglebean by a huge stone fireplace. Upstairs, the coffee shop gives way to the Triple Creek Lodge, three exquisitely appointed, rustic rental rooms, all with their own quirky personalities.
