The Mifflinburg Buggy Museum

Mifflinburg, only 13 miles away from Oakwood on Penns Creek, was once the Detroit of buggy making and by the looks of the number of buggies on the mountain roads, the craft continues to this day. The Buggy Museum showcases playing and fancy buggies and the workmanship that goes into creating them. The museum gives frequent demonstrations. We have been there when busloads of German tourists visit to gain insight into their brethren, the Amish.
